December 2023
Thank you all for your donations for our RUKSAK45218 Christmas Appeal. The Keevil Councillors have been sorting and packing up the donations ready to be delivered to
ruksak45218 in time for Christmas.
No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
December 2023
In school, we are trying to make a small difference in the lives of others who may not be so blessed. With our Christian vision rooted in the parable of the Good Samaritan and the message “Always treat others the way you want to be treated," we are trying to give back to the community this Christmas.
The Keevil Councillors have been busy in school helping to remind children about what they can do to make a difference. They have been visiting every class in school to show them some items they could donate to the RUKSAK appeal.
November 2023
Keevil Councillors have been busy helping with our Children In Need fundraising, they have been helping to organise the cake sale as well as selling the cakes to the children in school on Friday 17th November.
We’ve been collecting used printer cartridges to raise funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and our 1st full box has been posted. We are reducing plastic waste and supporting a worthwhile charity! If you would like to help us, you can drop off used cartridges in the collection box in our Community book swap/ recycled rabbit hutch outside the school. (We can not recycle toner or laser cartridges) Recycle For Wiltshire Air Ambulance
School Councillors from KS2 helped the younger children from Winter and Spring Classes complete an online questionnaire for the Steeple Ashton Recreation Group. They were all very excited to see all of the plans for the Recreation Field in Steeple Ashton and voted for their favourite one… as you can imagine, they all had lots of great ideas themselves too!
March 2023
WOW! Our school councillors have been busy sorting the books for tomorrow's World Book Day big swap. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, it means that every child in the school will have to opportunity to bring home a 'new to them' book tomorrow at no extra cost to you. We cannot wait to see all the costumes in school tomorrow and to of course welcome our author into school. WBD 2023 here we come!!
We really value what the children have to say about our school which is why this week all the children in school have completed our pupil questionnaire. We want to find out what they think about school, what they enjoy doing and what they think could be even better.
Our KS2 children were able to complete this for themselves but our younger school members needed a little support answering the questionnaire from our School Councillors.
